Polyacrylamide is abbreviated as PAM. It is a high-molecular polymer formed by the copolymerization of acrylamide and other monomers. The solid appearance of the product is white granular powder, which is soluble in water but insoluble in organic solvents. It is widely used in fields such as papermaking, mining, coal washing, metallurgy, and oil extraction. Currently, it is an important chemical in the water treatment field.

Anionic polyacrylamide is used for various sewage purification, and is suitable for sewage with a neutral or alkaline pH value. It is usually used in combination with inorganic coagulants such as aluminum sulfate, polyaluminum chloride, and polyferric sulfate, which can reduce the dosage and increase the effect.

Cationic polyacrylamide is a water-soluble linear polymer and a quaternary cationic monomer with a high molecular weight. It absorbs suspended solid particles in water, bridges and neutralizes the charge between the particles, and aggregates the polyacrylamide to form large flocculent particles. It effectively improves solid-liquid separation processes in municipal and all industrial wastewater treatment processes, particularly in sludge dewatering processes such as belt presses, plate presses, screw presses, and decanter centrifuges.

Before using polyacrylamide, it must be dissolved in water in the prescribed ratio. The dissolution time is approximately 40-60 minutes. The water temperature should be controlled below 40℃. The prepared solution should be used on the same day. The specific dosage needs to be determined through a beaker experiment. When using other coagulants, the coagulant should be used first, and then the flocculant should be added after mixing. Avoid mixing the two products at the same time.

Polyacrylamide is packaged in 25 kg bags lined with thick plastic film. Custom packaging is also available upon request.
Polyacrylamide should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
